Felicity specialises in health and human services research and evaluation. She has experience adapting services to meet diverse communities' needs, through practice development and applied social policy design and implementation. Felicity has worked across the not-for-profit sector to strengthen and integrate services across the family violence, mental health, alcohol and other drug, justice and employment systems.

How she got here

  • Joined HealthConsult as a Consultant, bringing expertise in health and human services research and evaluation
  • Led the 'Birdy' project, a community-led mental health promotion program in public housing communities. Designed and conducted community consultations, developed culturally appropriate evaluation tools, and analysed program outcomes for future implementation
  • Developed the 'Working Together' practice model, reviewing existing literature on intersectional approaches, facilitating cross-sector stakeholder workshops, and co-designing practical guidelines for frontline workers
  • Contributed to the HOPE Family Violence Screening Tool Project, conducting a rapid evidence review of existing screening tools, analysing hospital data to identify key risk factors, and collaborating with clinicians to develop a user-friendly screening tool
  • Evaluated 'The Zone', an alcohol and drugs program. Designed mixed-methods evaluation approach, conducted interviews with program staff and participants, and analysed program data to assess outcomes and cost-effectiveness
  • Managed operations for large-scale surveys at The Social Research Centre, overseeing data collection processes, ensuring quality control measures were implemented, and coordinating with academic partners on survey design and analysis.
